2012 Books

I read much less this year than I usually do. I think this is the full list…

  • The Hunger Games, by Suzanne Collins (trilogy)
  • Lord of the Rings, by J. R. R. Tolkein (trilogy)
  • Passages, by Gail Sheehy
  • Middlesex, by Jeffrey Eugenides
  • Snowcrash, by Neal Stephenson
  • The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, by Patrick Lencioni
  • Franny and Zooey, by J. D. Salinger
  • From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler, by E. L. Konigsburg
  • Delirium, by Lauren Oliver
  • Matched, by Ally Condie
  • The Hero and The Crown, by Robin McKinley
  • Fablehaven, by Branden Mull
  • The Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher (two books from the series)
  • A Year in the Life of an Unlikely Stripper, by Diablo Cody
  • Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle (about half of them)

Only ~20 books in 12 months? I barely qualify as a bibliophile. Oof.

  2. And which one was your favorite??

  3. I think Snowcrash. I love Sherlock Holmes, but I couldn’t choose one favorite out of all the shorts I read. But I highly recommend Snowcrash, particularly to anyone who enjoys sci-fi/fantasy, or just a well written, fast-paced, technology-driven story.
